The Dalles Small Business Development Center and the Hood River County Chamber of Commerce will host a Business resources conference Friday, Oct 29, in Hood River.

The conference will discuss a variety of topics including:

• Small business loans
• The difference between a contracted worker and an employee
• Tax and economic incentives
• Available properties for expansion & services
• How e-banking interfaces with Quickbooks
• Growing your business through creative marketing

• Insurances for business, controlling risk factors
