Old Buildings & Fort Dalles 150th Anniversary - upd Feb 2005

The Dalles Art Center will be exhibiting a group show featuring old historic buildings of the mid Columbia area along with work celebrating the 150th anniversary of Fort Dalles. The show, sponsored by Ft. Dalles Museum and the Anderson Homestead, will open March 1 and continue through April 2. There will be a First Thursday reception on March 3 from 5-7 pm.

Members of the Ft. Dalles Museum Commission will judge the entries pertaining to Ft. Dalles and Mary Rollins will judge the other entries.

There will be cash awards for the best entries in both categories. Artists wishing to enter their work should bring it to The Dalles Art Center between February 22-26 during regular gallery hours. Call the art center at (541) 296 4759 for more information.
