What is Longaberger?

Longaberger is an American family owned company that employs Americans all across the country in every aspect of the organization. One families legacy of quality craftsmanship and innovation made right here in America.

The Longaberger company began in Dresden, Ohio, when Dave Longaberger decided to try selling his father's hancrafted maple baskets to the general public. Previously the baskets were sold to the pottery factories in Ohio to carry the greenware to the firing houses. The business took off when he began selling the baskets by direct sales ( in homes) in 1976 with independent sales consultants across the country. Each basket is still individually hand woven with quality wood grown and harvested here in the United States. Each basket is individually inspected and signed by the weaver with the year it was woven.
In 1990 pottery was added to compliment the baskets and in 1995 wrought iron accessories joined the line. What we now have is a complete line of home products and furnishings that anyone would be proud to display and use.

Sold by independent sales consultants by direct sales much like Weekenders or Tupperware, means its as time consuming as you want it to be. Anyone can sell these products in your spare time or as a full time job its up to you!
