Nate Stone, originally form the Midwest, started Heaven & Earth Enterprises in 2001, with the goal of helping businesses gain broader access into the Federal and State Procurement marketplace. Guiding businesses through the often complex maze of state and federal regulations is the primary focus of Heaven & Earth. After being discharged form the Navy in 1989, where Nate served as an Communications Technician (IC3), he worked primarily in the Hazardous Materials Industry as an Hazmat and UST Supervisor. While trying to sell products to the government himself, Nate began to realize that the system was so complex, that just navigating through the system was a full time job. After gaining profiency in the area, Nate re-vamped H & E into a consulting firm, and the rest is history. Though Heaven & Earth is a home based, the firm is making huge inroads for our clients. We recently forwarded a proposal to hi-tech firm located in the Columbia River Gorge. Through the combination of efforts involving the firm's technical expertise, and Heaven & Earth's knowledge of the federal procurement system, the client was awarded a 3 year contract to provide telecom services to the Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) Federal Law Enforcement Training Facility (FLETC) in New Mexico. Another proposal we recently forwarded to our associates at Tanager Telecommunications NM, LLC ended with Tanager being awarded a telecom contract for the GSA to provide telecom services statewide to the tribes in New Mexico. Though federal procurement is not for the faint of heart, the rewards can have much broader implications than simply the individual firm involved. Due to Tanager's award of the GSA contract for example, the Port of Stevenson call center will now begin to operate providing much needed jobs to the area.
